It is the South Bay...so don't be surprised to find this great Italian restaurant in a tiny strip of businesses. The food was delicious and the staff were great (knowledgeable of the menu and made the evening more fun).Great appetizers (calamari, portabello mushrooms with shrimp and artichokes with arugula). The sea bass was huge and tasted great... rustic, authentic Italian flavors.Worth a visit!

Great food, service all in a very romantic setting

Aliotta's is my favorite Italian restaurant in the world. The service is first class and the food is the most authentic Italian you can find in the South Bay. I always go with one of the specials of the day (there's usually 2 or 3) and the wine selection is fantastic.

Gracious service. Delicious food.

The rest of us like to explore the menu. The Papardelle Rustica with chicken, spinach, garlic, and mushrooms with a truffle sauce was wonderful. The steak with penne was al dente and delicious. Fresh made and hot calamari. Caesar salad with anchovies..Spaghetti and meatballs is tasty along with the Carbonara with a fried egg on top.

First time visitor, not a foodie. I finally learned what ministrone soup should taste like. There is no prixfix menu, so be prepared to spend. If you can get away with the illusion of Italy off of Torrance Blvd. This is it. Recommended.

The "last "dinner before the closing of the restaurant for dining room service. Grazie, Michele! Buonissimo!!

This place never disappoints. They serve good dishes for fair pricing, there are no long waits even when the place is packed.

This is our favorite Italian restaurant in south bay. We have our usual favorites, tortellini alexa and lobster ravioli. It is family owned, Chef Mike will come to your table to suggest wines and specials. His uncle Emmanuel is polite and funny, makes bunnies with the cloth napkin for my kid. Wide selection of home made pastas, always ask for the specials of the day and the rack of lamb.

Old school, family run Italian. Great food, good wine selection and fresh seafood. This is dining, not just eating.

Oh finally, found the authentic real Italian restaurant in South-bay area !!The linguine Toscana is just so flavorful yet simple with right amount of salt, garlic, pepper, capers and lemon’s citrus scent to complete the dish. Of course, the pasta is fresh and al dente. The wine list shows the owner’s dedication and great tastebuds. The veal is wonderful and so are the rest of the dishes all the way to the espresso â¤ï¸Thank you Mike, we will definitely come back soonâ£ï¸

The entire place was well decorated when we went (for NYE dinner). Staff were welcoming and attentive. Food is delicious! The serving is a bit too big. Also, you MUST try tiramisu cake for dessert. ðŸ˜

The food was delicious and the desserts even better.

So lovely to go to a nice quiet place with good food, good wine and great friends. If you don't see it on the menu they will make it for you if possible! Service is wonderful, the food is incredible.

I absolutely love this place. The best Italian food in the area, with the best wine list too! Everything is perfectly homemade and tastes like Grandma's, but with a touch of class you'd expect from something bigger than even a little place like the South Bay. I can't speak highly enough about Aliottas. The gnocchi is probably my favorite thing ever, but that might just be my childhood trying to come bursting through.

Great food. Good service. Ambience is traditional Italian. Around for 20 years with good quality food and wine.

Delicious food! Big fan of the gnocchi with gorgonzola cream sauce. And friendly wait staff. Will come again next time I visit LA.

Amazing food with some of the best service and attention to detail. Perfect for a date with someone who you want to be serious, or a family gathering.

It was as if we stepped into a restaurant in Florence, Italy! The décor is beautiful, the food was delicious, but the service is what sets this restaurant apart! We will definitely return. This Italian restaurant is one of our favorite in Torrance , Ca. Great and knowledgable staff with a real Italian feel. If you like wine they have a good selection. Everything from appetizers to dessert is perfect. One of the few places we would say you can never go wrong. Thank you !

Great food and service!

Delicious made to order Italian that's also on the lighter side -- as in not heavy. Good service too, but it's always packed so expect to wait.

Great. My daughters bridal dinner

Imported tube pasta with shrimp and scallops, we're all perfectly done. Ceasar salad did not have a bruised or limp leaf of romaine. Tiramisu was excellent. Best pasta I have ever had. Excellent quality bar none. The bread was excellent, so much so my wife ate half the basket, and she does not eat bread at any restaurant.

Quite and romantic! Its a nive upscale italian restaurant you can find in Torrance. If you want a nive restaurant and stay local in Torrance, try Aliotta.

We went with a small group of four and we were treated like family. Literally. The service is first class and the food as well. We started with antipasti which were great, I had Caesar Salad and Cannelloni which were both excellent. I will be back.

Great Italian restaurant with all the delicious food, wine, dessert, coffee.

This was our first visit and it was fabulous! Great food, outstanding service, and Michael, our server, was just wonderful. This will be our new favorite Italian restaurant.

This place was and Is Amazing!
Nancy McCutcheon
Quiet, nice atmosphere, good service, wine and beer only. Food was very good.

Wow! What a surprise this restaurant was. Delicious and great atmosphere. We ordered three appetizers, all good and authentic (according to my Italian friend). I ordered the eggplant parmigiano and won't do that again. Soft, mushy and pretty gross. This restaurant would have gotten a 5 star rating, but the eggplant parmigiano ruined that chance.

Our waiter talked too much and was never attentive. He broght us the wrong dish and tried to argue. It didn't end there, he brought the wrong soups for a couple next table. Food was salty and without character.
Melisa Mireles
The food, service, and ambiance of the restaurant was wonderful. Every bite of our meal was absolutely delectable and we never had an empty glass of water. The wine sauce, along with every bit of shrimp, scallops, noodle, and the combination of flavors in each of our meals was so good we wanted to savor every last bite. When you are asked if you want dessert and you say yes they bring you a platter of what each dessert will look like so you can choose based on sight. The dessert was excellent and practically melted in our mouths. I cannot express how wonderful the chef's cooking is and would highly recommend you visit Aliotta's Via Firenze if you are looking for the taste of a real Italian meal coupled with nice, friendly service.

Always a nice evening. Food is great
Troy Schneider
One of our favorite Italian restaurants in the South Bay. Food has been consistently excellent. Service is excellent but on the slower side of the spectrum. But that is due to the relaxed dinning environment. Nicely decorated inside. Prices are on the moderate side. So if you are looking for something better and more authentic than Olive Garden check out Aliotta's. You won't be disappointed
